Sorel padded quietly into what he thought was Lila's pack. "Erm...hello?" he called, his voice slightly echoing.

Jexi once again spotted the two wolves. Ari was up in the tree. Quietly, she crept foward and shouted, "BOO!"

Lila whirled around . This leader stuff is hard ! I should've just kept my big mouth shut ! she growled in her mind . " Hello ? " she called back , stepping into the woods again .

Ari jumped , startled and growled instinctively .

Sorel sighed. "Um, I think my sister and I have met you before, but we got lost. I was wondering if this was your pack?" he asked.

Jexi laughed. "Gotcha!" she grinned, clearly pleased.

"Oh..I see," Sorel said, shuffling his paws. He didn't really know how to ask to join because it would sound rude to invite himself into the pack.

"Because I like amusing myself, and annoying you," Jexi replied. "Where's your mate, Diamond? If that's her name? Haven't seen her for a while."

"Sure." Sorel flattened his ears. He shouldn't have replied so quickly to that question. "I mean...yeah, I'll go get her," he barked, running off to find her.

"Sure you don't. And I don't want to go through the trouble of finding her, she's not worth annoying as much," she growled.
